Lucky in love

Like a good rom-com, it all started with me falling in love with my brothers friend.
Reese and I first crossed paths one day when he was hanging out at my brother, Brannon’s, house. I thought he was cute, he thought I was cute...

Shortly after, I sent Brannon a very subtle text: “You wanna hook a sister up?”

And just like that, I got Reese’s number and decided to make the first move. While I was a little more forward, Reese took the more traditional approach. Before asking me out, he respectfully called Brannon to ask for permission to take me on a date.

Spoiler alert: Brannon said yes.

One date turned into many, and before we knew it, Reese wasn’t just my brother’s friend anymore, he was part of our family. Somewhere along the way, he became my best friend, my favorite person, and eventually, my fiancé. AHHH!

What started with a date at a Puyallup country bar somehow turned into forever.
And honestly, we couldn’t have written a better love story ourselves.
